"Why 'Lay Claim' Now?" Episode #61 of "ANTICIPATION"

Episode Sixty-One 'WHY 'LAY CLAIM' NOW?' is the second segment of a mini-series. Having previously made the case that -- beyond anticipatory yearning for Moshiach's arrival -- we must actively ask for Redemption, we move on to troubleshoot to defend and cement the logic of the thesis; finally answering the question of "why now"?! In Episode 60, LAYING CLAIM we already presented a carefully stitched quilt tapestry fusing a Halacha from the Laws of Claims with the need to ask Hashem for Moshiach. Yet, while it was solidly sewn of legal threads, one can seemingly argue that, for all its homiletic elegance, the fabric of the argument doesn't sufficiently cover the technicalities and cannot be applied in practice insofar as the Geula/final Redemption is concerned. Here, the thesis is further reinforced, and loose ends of the argument are stitched together producing durable proof of The Rebbe's novel approach, including his assurance the time for a more assertive approach had arrived.
